Summer Art Exhibition at the BCC Student Art Gallery

The Summer Art Exhibition at the Burlington County College Student Art Gallery opens on Wednesday, July 30 and celebrates the finest original art created by BCC students, alumni including myself and community artists.

Through a variety of mediums, 42 artists express their creativity in this year’s exclusive juried exhibit, curated by Jessica Ward, BCC campus curator. There are 122 works of art, including photography, drawing, painting, sculpture, mixed media, graphic design, needlework, and much more, on display through Saturday, Sept. 13 at the gallery located at 1 High Street in Mount Holly.

An artists’ reception on Saturday, Aug. 9 from noon to 2 p.m. will be held in conjunction with Main Street Mount Holly’s third annual “Hollystock Music and Arts Festival” and the 2nd Saturday Arts Crawl. The reception is free and open to the public. Light refreshments will be available.

The 2014 Summer Art Exhibition will be on display during normal gallery hours through Sept. 13: Wednesday and Thursday, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.; Friday, 3:30 p.m. to 7 p.m.; and the second Saturday of every month from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
